My name is Vanessa Silva, and I relocated to Seaside in 1986. I am an alumna of Monterey High School and Monterey Peninsula College. During my high school years, I was an active member of the basketball team and have always been an avid tennis enthusiast. I dedicated 20 years of my professional career to the Monterey County Office of Education, where I served as an instructional paraprofessional, working with children and adults with intellectual disabilities.
Subsequently, I transitioned to a coaching role at Meadowbrook. Meadowbrook has been a significant part of my life since I was nine years old, offering a wonderful environment for personal growth. It was here in 2016 that I was introduced to pickleball, a sport I have cherished ever since. |
